Quality Inspector for Northvolt in Stockholm

Quality Inspector

Are you experienced in quality control? Are you motivated, detail oriented, and knowledgeable about mechanical/electrical inspection methodes? Then this position might be for you. Keep reading! The Quality Inspector works closely with the Design and Industrialization team at Northvolt and performs receiving, in-process, and final inspection of the parts, materials, and assemblies of battery systems. We are looking for an experienced engineer who can work independently and unsupervised to ensure that the quality standards are met. Welcome to send in your application!


Key responsibilities

Perform and document dimensional inspections on parts using engineering prints. Carry out product tests and thorough independent final inspection of finished assemblies to defined procedures, formally reporting all defects and deviations. Select products for tests at specified stages in process, and tests products for variety of qualities, such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics. As needed, perform nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Record test data, applying statistical quality control procedures
  • Detect non-conformance during production operations effectively
  • Prepare graphs or charts of data or enter data into computer for analysis
  • Perform quality control equipment calibrations and records the data as required
  • Generate nonconformance reports as required and follows Inspection procedures
  • Recommend modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability
  • Evaluate data to indicate deviations from existing standards



-BS.c or MS.c in engineering/manufacturing

-Two years of experience with quality control in similar or relevant industries. E.g. battery systems, automotive, or manufacturing.

-Knowledge and experience with mechanical and electrical methods and drawings. 



Location: Stockholm.
Type of employment: full time consultant, hired by Lernia but working for Northvolt.
Appointment: as soon as possible.
Business travel: No.
