Now, the Controls Division is looking for their new colleague. The assignment is at least 18 months and will be placed in Gothenburg. Travelling might occur.

Main tasks and responsibility
Your main task is to be responsible for supporting and leading product enhancements and associated changes to existing products. The main product you work with is regarding Controls in the engine department, handling ECU:s. You will be the technical liaison responsible for coordinating, recommending and implementing design changes such as software updates and mechanical design changes. The work is cross-functional, which means that you have a central responsibility of leading and implementing product changes so that it reaches all the important units in the organization. You have close contact to the customers, making sure that customer satisfaction is always high in quality.
To be considered for this position, it is required that you have good knowledge of electronics and CAN based products. Furthermore, you have at least a B.Sc. degree in engineering within the electronics and mechanical field. You have at least five years of relevant experience within this area. Automotive experienced is required as well.
It is highly desirable if you have experience within:
- Designing - CAD
- Validation of electronic/electromechanical products
- Reading and interpreting documents; such as drawings and specifications
- Writing reports
- Presenting information and responding to customer inquiries
- Performing advanced mathematical concepts
If you have a background within test engineering (Engine Development), it is also considered as desirable.
You have the ability to handle multiple tasks, organize and prioritize work-load.
You have an effective and professional way of communicating with customers. Furthermore, you have a good ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where limited standardization might be occurred. You also have a good ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram or schedule form.
