On behalf of DONGJIN, we at Lernia are looking for a Account Economist to join their team. An important role where you get hired directly by our client. As a pioneer in the Korean fine chemical industry, DONGJIN has grown steadily along with the development of Korea's electronic materials market. Based on years of experience and competitive expertise in advanced materials technology, DONGJIN Sweden AB has been started. The business has grown over 2 years and will grow from today's 30 employees to approximately 100 employees, the product is CNT-Slurry and the customer is Nortvolt.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsibility for ensuring that financial information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Ensure that all accounting processes comply with current laws and regulations.
- Manage ongoing bookkeeping and reconciliations for our agreements.
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and prepare annual financial statements.
- Handle reporting to our parent company in South Korea.
- Work on VAT and tax declarations, pensions, taxes, and audit issues.
- Participate in improvement efforts for accounting, reporting, and closing processes.
Desirable skills
- Education in Accounting Economics.
- Several years of experience in similar tasks and an understanding of various accounting principles is highly advantageous.
- Experience with accounting systems.
- Interest in numbers and finance.
- Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
