About Lernia

Lernia supports companies and organisations in the main areas of staffing, education, skills enhancement, consulting and downsizing advice and services.

Lernia provides

• qualified personnel on a temporary basis for production peaks
• highly qualified professional training for employed or unemployed people
• ideas, tools and programmes that help companies and their employees develop 
• support for staff given notice to find new jobs and companies to enable successful reorganisation.

Lernia also offers validation of knowledge and skills acquired outside the regular school system, i.e. defining knowledge against formal criteria, such as elementary school levels.

In 2007 approximately 50 000 people all over Sweden went through Lernia's education or training. Lernia AB is wholly-owned by the Swedish Government and is certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
